Choir
- Performs music of all styles from Gospel, Hip-Hop, R & B to Pop
- No formal training or experience is required
- Performs at Honour Roll Assembly, Advent Liturgy, Easter Liturgy, and the Performing Arts Festival
- Receives invitations to perform off campus at retirement homes, elementary schools, and churches
- Performing with Loyola High School Boys' Chorus since Fall of 2005 at various events at both Loyola and QAA.

Debating Club
- Opportunity to focus on junior debating tournaments. We will meet to learn and practice debating techniques and procedures; we will travel to tournaments around the Montreal area to compete against other schools.

Drama Club

Produces student-run plays

Secondary 4 or Secondary 5 student directors choose the play and members of the cast, and direct it
- Production coordinators stage the entire production and are responsible for sets, lighting, make up, front of house and much more

Student directors run 8 workshops to get to know new actors and to determine their dedication and suitability and so that their decisions are not based on a single audition

Workshops are open to all students who want to try out acting and have fun. They run from 3:15-4:45 pm, October to November

English Public Speaking
Junior and Intermediate
Each year QAA English students in Cycle 1, Years 1 and 2 and Cycle 2, Year 1 participate in the QAIS Public Speaking Competition alongside their private school counterparts. The competition is an excellent opportunity for students, not only to hone their writing and speaking skills, but to develop the confidence necessary to deliver either a persuasive or an after-dinner speech for an authentic audience.

Junior Band
This performance-based course is open to any QAA student who has been playing a concert band instrument for a year or more. Weekly attendance and concert participation are compulsory, and are taken into account in the evaluation process. Students will develop musical skills in a stage-band setting, and there will be many performance opportunities including concerts, music festivals, and community events. Membership in Junior Band will become the gateway to participation in the Senior Band.

Senior Band
This performance-based course gives students the opportunity to achieve an advanced level of playing ability. It is for those who have been playing a concert band instrument for three years or more, or receive permission from the director. There will be many performance opportunities including concerts, music festivals, and community events. Weekly attendance and concert participation are compulsory, and are taken into account in the evaluation process. The student must be aware that she is part of a team, and therefore must be responsible for punctuality, attendance, behaviour, and must practice regularly on her instrument.
