We’re proud to announce that QAA has been presented with a Most Sportsmanlike School Award from the GMAA (Greater Montreal Athletic Association).
What does it take to be selected as the Most Sportsmanlike School?
Players who:
- try their best.
- maintain a positive attitude.
- remain level headed even under trying circumstances.
- are courteous to others.
Coaches who:
- act in an exemplary fashion.
- help players grow and acquire skills in sports, leadership, and citizenship.
Spectators who:
- welcome visitors.
- encourage and applaud effort and good play from both teams.
- use polite and respectful language.
Over 225 QAA students participated on 28 teams in 14 different sports this year. A special thank you goes to our 18 dedicated coaches for all of their time, expertise, leadership and love of sport that they shared with these students. Congratuations! This award is because of them!
