Queen of Angels Academy: Lest We Forget
QAA staff and students sat in silence at last week’s Remembrance Day assembly to pay tribute to all of the brave men and women soldiers who have given up their time and lives in the name of peace and freedom. A huge thank-you goes out to pastoral animator Ms. Percival for inviting a special guest speaker from the Canadian Armed forces to share stories and slideshows from his time spent in Bosnia and Afghanistan. Our hearts were heavy, but also filled with pride.
Queen of Angels Academy: We’re Really Cooking Now!
Congratulations and thank you to all of the amazing talent show participants and volunteers at last Friday night’s Angels Café; your dedication and hard work really shone through.
Student Council would also like to thank Chef Alex for hosting this month’s fabulous introductory cooking class for students at every level. Secondary 4 & 5 students and parents are invited to QAA’s Annual Post-Secondary Information Evening this Thursday night from 7-9pm.
